The Wills and Succession Act (SA 2010 cW-12.2), formerly Bill 21, has been proclaimed in force (except section 117) on February 1, 2012 (Alta OC 19/2012, January 20, 2012).

This Act modernizes and consolidates several related out-dated statutes.

This Act was amended by the Wills and Succession Amendment Act (SA 2011 c16) which came into force on May 13, 2011.
